Wailuku: Wailuku Maui is the county seat of Maui with an estimated population under 15,000 and just under 5,000 households.  It is located just to the west of Kahului and is at the entry way to Iao Valley State Park and
the Iao Needle which is earthen pinnacle rising 2,250 feet in height.  Many homes and buildings in Wailuku
